\nShe grinned. ‘But I was looking forward to it, actually. Sometimes you just need to curl up with a plate of scrambled eggs all by yourself. I never get to do that. It’s like heaven. You know what I mean?
\nWell, I didn’t until she said it. And there hasn’t been a day since then that I haven’t thought wistfully of that plate of solitary scrambled eggs.
