As it was in the height of summer, I was more than happy to head there.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4137\/4873559027_10edf7fcfb.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0743\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nSnow King prides itself on having 73 different ice cream flavours, some of which are savoury! There are flavours made from various types of tea, alcohol and fruits among the more normal flavours like chocolate and vanilla.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4115\/4873611703_0fa91d63be.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0754\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nOut of curiosity, we tried four savoury flavours &#8211; wasabi \u82a5\u672b, pork floss \u8089\u9b06, sesame chicken \u9ebb\u6cb9\u96de and pork knuckle \u8c6c\u8173. There were tiny bits of pork floss, sesame chicken and pork knuckle in those ice creams. As you can probably tell from the four half-eaten cups, we couldn&#8217;t quite stomach all of it as it was just really weird!!! My conclusion? Ice cream is still best eaten sweet.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4097\/4874223714_534df6a74f.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0755\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nAfter the savoury ones, we decided to go for the more normal sweet flavours &#8211; yam \u828b\u982d, osmanthus with chrysanthemum \u6842\u82b1\u83ca, guiyuan \u6842\u5713 (aka longan), and egg custard. I liked the osmanthus with chrysanthemum best with its subtle taste of both flower teas.<br \/>\nWhile the savoury flavours are definitely an acquired taste, they&#8217;re still worth a try if you haven&#8217;t tried anything like it. At least you can say you&#8217;ve eaten it before!
