This one says happiness and good fortune are things that you have to create for yourself and not just hope for.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4099\/4874042432_9c1313fc35.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"IMGP0660\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nI like that Taipei&#8217;s subway has these protective measures for women.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4122\/4874078442_9f078765fe.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"IMGP0661\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nThe famous Taipei 101. I had intended to go up to the observation deck but the place was filled with mainland Chinese tourists and I decided that I wouldn&#8217;t bother queueing.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4122\/4873514975_5b6023d0ed.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"IMGP0701\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nAn artist decorating an electrical box along the streets of Taipei. I like how the city is making efforts to bring some colour to the place with these little touches. I think art definitely has a place in making the world a better place.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4096\/4873539009_5d91874369.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0725\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nQuirky wall art along the Po Pi Liao historical street (\u525d\u76ae\u5bee).<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4143\/4874157906_c615bef246.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0733\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nPo Pi Liao street is one of the oldest streets in Taipei and is definitely worth a visit. There are exhibits there explaining the history of the area. The film <i>Monga \u824b\u823a<\/i> was set in this area back in the 1980s where many triads ruled the area.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4139\/4874165192_6ac05e55d4.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP0739\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nA woman selling sweet snacks that are made from steamed glutinous flour mixture filled with different types of filling like red bean paste and yam paste.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4100\/4879494974_96d3b981a4.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMGP1019\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nHello Kitty waiting lounge at Taipei&#8217;s Taoyuan International Airport.
