I don’t know how women who totter around in heels all day do it ‘cos I definitely can’t. My god, just a few hours of wearing my pair of black heels on my first day of work on Monday and I was crying out in pain. I’m so pathetic – I can’t even walk properly in heels and my right knee even hurts at times.
\nSince then, I’ve bought three pairs of ballet flats for work as I’ve given up on heels altogether. I walk quite a lot in Hong Kong so there’s no way I can wear heels anymore. Perhaps I’m just too much of a tomboy!
\nWork has been alright so far. Well, it’s back to the corporate grind and being a normal executive sitting in a cubicle in a 9-5 job. Now I have to clock in my hours and fill in timesheets with details of what I do all day. So not used to such regimented practices.
\nAm still settling back into Hong Kong. There are administrative matters to settle as well as the move into a flat next week. Lots to do!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
