To be sung to the tune of Willie Nelson’s “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before”<\/i>
\nTo all the teachers I’ve hurt before
\nWho travelled in and out the classroom doors
\nI’m glad they came along
\nI dedicate this song
\nTo all the teachers I’ve hurt before
\nTo all the teachers I once ignored
\nAnd may I say I feel remorse
\nAt reading mags in class
\nI owe a lot I know
\nTo all the teachers I’ve hurt before
\nThe winds of change are always blowing
\nAnd justice has made its own way
\nTo pay me back my just desserts
\nAnd now I understand the pain
\nTo all the teachers who shared my life
\nWho now are just retired wives
\nI’m sorry I stoned in class
\nI dedicate this song
\nTo all the teachers I’ve hurt before
\nTo all the teachers who taught me once
\nI now know how it was for them
\nWhen faced with a blank stare
\nI’ll always be sorry
\nTo all the teachers I’ve hurt before
\nThe winds of change are always blowing
\nAnd justice has made its own way
\nTo pay me back my just desserts
\nAnd now I understand the pain
\nTo all the teachers we’ve made fun of
\nWho travelled in and out the classroom doors
\nWe’re glad they came along
\nWe dedicate this song
\nTo all the teachers we’ve hurt before
\nTo all the teachers we’ve hurt before
\nWho travelled in and out the classroom doors
\nWe’re glad they came along
\nWe dedicate this song
