It&#8217;s a line from British band Coldplay&#8217;s &#8216;Every teardrop is a waterfall&#8217; and the line really appealed to me not only because I&#8217;m the bona fide nerd and grammar geek, but more importantly it also speaks of possibilities in life. <\/p>\n<p>Yes, I&#8217;d rather be a comma than a full stop because the former speaks of continuing journeys, of things yet to be discovered, places yet to be explored, foods yet to be eaten, people yet to be met, and adventures yet to be experienced. <\/p>\n<p>The comma, unlike the full stop which in its name itself puts an end to things, is what keeps the narrative going. The comma makes you turn the pages in a book. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d like to believe that I have those journeys, things, people, foods and adventures lying in wait for me.
