Here are some from a coastal trek that I went on way back on 1 May, Labour Day. It was a public holiday and my friends and I went on a junk boat trip that also included a coastal trek around Basalt Island located in the Sai Kung peninsula. The island is also part of the Hong Kong National Geopark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7252\/7132125031_e8b3d5e17c.jpg\" alt=\"IMGP5085\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" \/><br \/>\nThose who didn&#8217;t want to do coastal trekking got onto the island by taking a ride there on this small boat. They hiked to the top of the hill on the island instead.
