It will be like some kind of pet project and will serve as a way to remind myself &#8211; and hopefully others &#8211; of the things I should be thankful for. It&#8217;s because too often I find myself thinking about what I don&#8217;t have rather than what I do. And then I end up feeling miserable. So this is my way of encouraging myself and making myself a happier person. Today&#8217;s simple pleasure was this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dimsumdolly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120805-2303451.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dimsumdolly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120805-2303451.jpg\" alt=\"20120805-230345.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I love how the yolk runs the moment a poached egg is poked by a fork. I love eating runny eggs and love how the English muffin on which my eggs benedict sits soaks up all that golden liquid.<\/p>\n<p>Eggs benedict is always my number one choice for Sunday brunch. There&#8217;s something so comforting about it. The ones I had today were all the more delicious because they were what I had &#8220;rewarded&#8221; myself with after a two-hour hike that included lots of steps.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway I always enjoying poking the egg and seeing the yolk burst forth and ooze out. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have decided to start a category in my blog called &#8216;Simple pleasures&#8217; for the little things in life that delight me.
