I do. Often. Everyone I know seems to have life all figured out – my FB newsfeed is filled with update statuses and pictures of friends on holiday, or them indulging in a decadent meal, or them acting lovey dovey with their significant other. You get the idea.

I guess another reason I’m cutting down on my use of FB is that I don’t want to be reminded of how I have yet to figure things out. How did life end up like that, dammit. Growing up, in my childhood and teenage innocence, I had thought having a fulfilling career and finding love would just fall into place eventually – that they were a given. Little did I know then that it’d be so difficult.

However, I do realise that what we see on the surface isn’t always a true reflection of the situation. People only show the best parts of themselves on FB (but again, I don’t need to know every single detail…some people are just TMI), and the struggles they face in life are often left out.

Of course, in the whole scheme of things, my life isn’t THAT bad. Although I know I shouldn’t compare with others, it’s hard not to. Anyway, I just have to keep reminding myself to count my blessings and make the best of what I’ve got.

Do you fall for the Facebook facade?
