Turkey is like a history museum in itself. Everywhere you go, you’re surrounded by the history and culture of three of the greatest civilisations in human history – the Greeks, Romans and Ottomans. I was utterly in awe of all that I saw, which displayed the intelligence of the civilisations back then, as well as the craftsmanship of all the artisans.<\/p>\n

This blog post shows some pictures I took at the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Pergamon.<\/p>\n

A well-preserved and steep amphitheatre that can seat about 10,000 people \u2013 in the past, amphitheatres were made to seat about 10% of the population, i.e. all the rich people only!<\/p><\/div>\n
