Oohh, the sun’s shining nice & bright despite it being winter. That’s what I love about Australia’s weather….it’s good all year round. But of course, I would much rather have the heat…that would mean being able to hit the beach! But nevermind, being here in Sydney is good enough.
\nThe flight was ok…I wasn’t feeling too good because of motion sickness. And oh, Qantas really needs to work on their inflight entertainment. The movies available were crap. The only one worth watching was the Oscar-winning Best Foreign Film The Barbaric Invasions<\/i>. The food no comment ‘cos I didn’t touch one bit of it. Anyway, how nice can plane food get???
\nMonkey & Otiose met me at the airport and we headed to Chinatown for dinner ‘cos I said I wanted to eat jook<\/i> (congee). The feeling of being in Sydney was surreal….I couldn’t believe I was back…I still can’t believe it actually. Everything’s still so familiar…it’s like I never left.
\nAnyway, gotta say thanks to Monkey & Otiose for meeting me at the airport and sending me back to Pymble after dinner.
\nThis trip is really all about catching up with family & friends as I doubt I’ll be back in Sydney for a long time. Met up with a Taiwanese friend of mine yesterday and shopped around the city with her.
\nAnd oh, also got to meet the newest member of my uncle’s family – their golden retriever Biscuit. He’s such a dear…very good temperament and really friendly. Good fun.
