Ah, the joy of seeing maple syrup gurgling like molten gold, coating&nbsp;&nbsp; pecans that are flavoured with dashes of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Together with melted butter, the aroma of sugar crystals that are caramalising slowly as the fire does its work is just so comforting.
