Fate is a funny thing. It can be fickle; deciding at one point you would meet someone and then changing its mind to decide that the person would leave you. In such a case, the Chinese would call it \u6709\u7de3\u7121\u5206, i.e. fated to meet but not destined to be together. Which, by the way, really sucks.<\/p>\n
I’ve always wondered if fate is really in our own hands. I suppose it is to a certain extent. You can work hard at something to change certain situations. But sometimes, you can’t help but conclude that perhaps things were just meant to be. The result wouldn’t be any different no matter what you could have tried to do.<\/p>\n
