~ My Way<\/em>, Frank Sinatra<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Shoulda, Woulda, and Coulda \u2013 all pointless words which boil down to regret. But all three forms have pertained to my life before and will probably continue to do so, although I will do my best to minimise their occurrences. I love the lyrics to the Frank Sinatra classic, “My Way<\/a>“. When I face my final curtain, I want to be able to say I have lived a full life and have had few regrets.<\/p>\n Recently, I learnt that the condition of a friend diagnosed with cancer three years ago has worsened and has been transferred to a hospice. He is only about three years older than I am.\u00a0This\u00a0is\u00a0sobering news and really made me take a step back and re-adjust perspectives.<\/p>\n Life\u00a0really is unpredictable. If you were told you only had a little more time\u00a0left on this planet, would you have\u00a0any\u00a0or many regrets?\u00a0What’s left on your bucket list? Who\u00a0will\u00a0you most want to see?<\/p>\n For the most part, I think I have tried my best to pursue the things I wanted lest I regret not doing so. Sometimes I had judged wrongly and ended up falling flat on my face. But that’s fine, I learnt some life lessons in the process and have managed to pick myself up and move on.<\/p>\n So yes, regrets \u2013 keep those to a minimum!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" “Regrets, I’ve had a few; But then again, too few to mention.
