What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I think this depends a lot on the person you are with and how well you know the person. For example, I don&#8217;t take much offence on religious jokes because I&#8217;m not religious. In fact, I&#8217;m sceptical of it. But for others, there&#8217;s no way you should ever joke about their religion.<\/p>\n<p>But for the first meeting with most people, I think the following three should usually be off the table much less joked about.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Religious<\/li>\n<li>Politics<\/li>\n<li>LGBT issues<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q32.
