After I returned to Sydney from the Snowies, I started feeling pain on the outside of my left elbow. I thought it&#8217;d go away soon enough and didn&#8217;t think much about it. Two weeks later, the pain was still there and so I decided it was time to see my osteopath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He diagnosed my pain as tennis elbow. No, I don&#8217;t play tennis but this is a repetitive strain injury caused by my usage of the computer mouse on my left arm. I&#8217;m right handed but I prefer using the mouse of my left hand which explains the injury. These are the occupational hazards of a desk-bound job and just age catching up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don&#8217;t realise how much you use these small muscles until they don&#8217;t work for. Just pressing on my soap dispenser hurts and so does holding up a 1 litre bottle that&#8217;s filled with water. Not good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not sure how long it will take for the pain to go away but it&#8217;s now put a stop to activities like bouldering which I started last week! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Age is catching up on me.
