We have known each other since primary school and it&#8217;s been so nice having an old friend in Sydney since she relocated here in August 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember meeting her on the very day she relocated from Singapore and I guess it was fitting that I also saw her off on her last day in Sydney. I cried after she had gone through the departure gate; she was a big connection I had to Singapore and now that she has left Sydney, I feel a great sense of loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goodbyes are so difficult. But that&#8217;s life. On that same day, I learnt that another good friend, someone I knew from Hong Kong and had also relocated to Sydney, will be relocating back to Hong Kong in August. Making friends is difficult as an adult, especially when one is an introvert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I miss Singapore so much. Not being able to travel these past 2.5 years has made being away from home really difficult. Hopefully I can make a trip home in June.
