<\/a>\nThe almond biscuits, after being pressed out of the mold, are placed onto these bamboo racks which are then placed over a barrel filled with charcoal. The heated charcoal then bakes the biscuits.

<\/a>\nNumerous almond bisucit and egg rolls shops line the cobbled-stoned road leading to the famous St Paul’s ruins. Every shop is eager to offer you samples of their biscuits. I must say the hot and freshly baked biscuits were delicious!

<\/a>\nBBQ pork slices seemed to be another famous product of Macau. Many shops were selling these too.

<\/a>\nThe smell of the cuttlefish being roasted led our noses to this stall.

<\/a>\nOne of the colleagues whom I went to Macau with said the Portuguese tarts at this cafe was supposed to be very good, so we went in search of it. We eventually found it with the help of a helpful and pretty young lady. The tarts were piping hot but I didn’t think they were exceptional. I guess it’s just one of those things you have to do when you’re in Macau!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
