Don’t ask me how I did it, but I broke the frame of my tennis racket while playing with my colleagues last night. And I had just had it restrung earlier in the week! It was my first time using it again after it had been restrung and it had these lovely, shiny golden strings.
\nMaybe it’s because the racket’s old already and last night’s playing (no, I wasn’t hitting very hard nor did I whack it on the ground) was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Anyway, there’s no hope for the racket now. The top part of the frame is twisted and mangled. You’d think I’d have to be a real hard-hitter to have it reduced to such a state. I plead innocence!!! The thing just sort of disintegrated!
