I ate at The Simple Life<\/b> a few months ago but forgot to blog about it. A few months back, this restaurant at Wheelock Place had just opened. It’s managed by the same people managing Fish & Co. which is at the same premises.
\nThe Simple Life serves local fare like laksa, tauhu goreng, fried rice, nasi lemak etc. I remember I had the laksa and tauhu goreng. I can’t remember what my friend had.
\nIn any case, the food there was rather forgettable. I think the same dish at any hawker centre would have tasted heaps better. The only thing about The Simple Life is that it’s a good place to rest your legs when you’re shopping the day away. After all, who doesn’t like sitting around and looking out of those glass windows at Wheelock Place?
