It started acting weird. So I didn&#8217;t take many pictures. Here are a few shots.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/213\/479982158_3345d77fc5.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Neuschwanstein Castle 8\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nThe inspiration for Cinderella&#8217;s castle in Disneyland. Bavaria&#8217;s King Ludwig II&#8217;s castle in Fussen named Neuschwanstein. Not too far away is also another  lovely little castle of his named Linderhof which is surrounded by a beautiful garden.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/227\/480017078_5e00a2154f.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Drachenboot Festival, Hamburg\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nAnd what do you know? I managed to catch a dragonboat festival in Hamburg! It took place in the Inner Alster. The Alster (consisting of the Inner and Outer Alster) is the main lake in Hamburg.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/189\/480024714_487bd3b3ab.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"Dragonboats on the Alster, Hamburg 4\" \/><\/a><\/br><br \/>\nI was so pleased to be able to catch the festival. If only I could have taken part! Hamburg&#8217;s a lovely city in northern Germany filled with lots of canals and waterways. It&#8217;s Germany&#8217;s Venice. From Hamburg, I also took a day-trip to Berlin which is 3 hours away by bus. And Berlin&#8217;s definitely worth a visit too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My camera died on me while in Germany. It started acting weird.
