Hot. Humid. Wet. Those weather elements essentially signal the arrival of summer in Hong Kong. The profuse sweating brought about by the heat and humidity is unpleasant but oh, this is the weather I was made for. I’m a bona fide tropical creature and summer lovin’ gal! 🙂 Here’s my checklist for HK summers:
1. Junk boat trips

2. Stream trekking – nothing like frolicking in the waterfalls and rock pools to cool down in the summer heat

3. Coastal trekking – swimming in the sea, hiking and climbing combined. Can’t think of anything more fun!
4. A golden brown summer tan – I’m a dermatologist’s nightmare
5. Tan lines
6. Froyo – trying to convince myself it’s a healthier form of ice cream
7. Sleeveless tops and dresses – summer wardrobe’s out!
8. Bikinis – bought two new sets of bikinis online and waiting for them to arrive
9. Short skirts – time to show off some leg before having to cover up in a few months
10. Swimming as an exercise!
