I bought him yesterday as I’ve always wanted a fighting fish. Finally found this one (have yet to give him a name) which I liked. Others I’ve seen seemed like they just came out of the battle field. Their tails and fins were all frayed and not as nicely fanned out as this one. He was five times more expensive than the rest on sale. I paid $5 for him while the rest were going for $1.
I hope his nicely fanned out tails and fins will survive under my care. Apparently it’s best to supplement his flake food diet with live food, but I’m not keen on handling worms. However I guess I’ll have to in order to keep him looking handsome!
