I love eating quiche, so to I decided I’d make one for myself last night. Sliced green and red bell pepper, spinach, caramelised onions and parmesan cheese went into this quiche. Instead of cow’s milk, I used unsweetened soy milk and it turned out fine. For seasoning, all I used were salt and freshly ground black pepper. The pastry was a store-bought flaky pastry as I was too lazy to make my own.
I was pleased with the results and am inspired to experiment with different ingredients. The leftover mixture was placed into a small rectangular baking tray and put into the oven to render a frittata which I’m going to have for lunch this afternoon. This is my form of economy of scale when it comes to homecooking.
So last week was a maniac week at work and school. Saturday was spent entirely at uni having to give a presentation and listen to a whole slew of classmates giving bad presentations. It’s shocking how people can just turn their back to the audience and read off the screen, and think that’s a presentation. Anyway, all I can say is they made me look good.
And now we come to the start of another week. Have a good week, to anyone who’s reading!
