The minimalist wooden Christmas tree that stands in my office’s reception. One of my colleagues doesn’t like it, saying it looks like a grave marker. But these blocks of wood ain’t cheap, mind you! It costs about HK$2000 (US$258).

I, on the other hand, like this different take of a Christmas tree. I don’t have a Christmas tree at home and don’t intend to buy one as it’s going to be another thing to store. I want to keep the number of things I own to as few as possible!

I do like Christmas trees. But I’m happy with admiring those outside my home. 🙂
