It’s been slightly more than a month since I first started my blog. When I first started it, it was with some apprehension as I have never actually been very confident of my own writing!
After coming to Sydney however, I had more to share about my life and all the new things I have been discovering. Thus, I started having the urge to have a blog after seeing how my two close friends Vanessa Tan & Vanessa Heng (their mutual friends have to differentiate them using their surnames!) seem to have so much fun with their respective blogs.
My friend Vanessa Tan, the web techie, very kindly helped me set up the blog and I guess I haven’t looked back since! I just want to say a big THANK YOU to the all the regular visitors of my blog and even more so for leaving a comment or two. I know my girlfriends May, VanTan, VanHeng, Desiree, Sharlene & Xiaohui pop in regularly. I also know my parents surf by to keep tabs on my life. heh. ;p
Also wanna say thanks to two new visitors – my classmate Joe and his friend Adrian. Joe & I are in the same classes and he’s also one of the long-suffering souls present in the death-by-boredom class on Tuesday nights. Joe forwarded my blog’s URL to Adrian and Adrian has very kindly left encouraging comments in his past two visits. I have exchanged two emails with Adrian but never met him. However, the three of us hope to meet up for a dimsum session one day. Yummy!
Anyway, I’m very heartened by all the encouragement received and I’m inspired to continue writing!
