I have 17 ornamental plants in my flat in Hong Kong. It’s a tiny jungle in here…suffice to say I love my plants. Heehee. I need to bring my love of the outdoors into my home and plants do make a huge difference in making a place feel more “homey”. I must have gotten my love of plants from my parents as my parents’ home in Singapore is also full of plants.

I especially love it when I see new shoots sprouting. It might be as close as I get to bringing up a person. There is such joy in seeing something grow and flourish under my care and effort. Pure delight. Have you ever noticed that new shoots are of a brighter shade of green compared to its parent?

One day I would like to have a garden where I can grow herbs and vegetables!
