Went swimming in the Colo River today after a descent from Mount Townsend in the Wollemi National Park. It marked the first time I’ve ever swum in a river in Australia. Thankfully no crocodiles!

There’s something so delightful and enjoyable about swimming in a body of water that’s completely sculpted by nature. No chlorinated water and no tiles at the bottom of your feet – what a great feeling! And to be surrounded by all that greenery, with the sun and clouds in the sky, wow, it was just amazing.
