the different morsels of the life of a foodie

I’ve been making myself wake up between 5 to 5:30am every day so I can beat the peak hour morning crowds on the commute to work. It makes for a more pleasant day and also gives me time for a jog around the Domain (the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney) before being stuck in the office. Sometimes I also alight a stop before (Milsons Point) my usual stop to walk across the Harbour Bridge, which is what I did today. It’s nice strolling across the bridge on a cool autumn morning with lovely views of the Sydney harbour. And with walking, one gets to discover little things like the figs that are growing aplenty on this curtain of green leaves lining the wall along Cumberland Street which then transitions to these red vein-like leaves creeping across. The wall makes for a lovely canvas for nature to paint its beauty!
