I just ate the much lauded about bread from Roti Boy (courtesy of my company’s printer. Yes, feeding us is the least he can do seeing that we’re giving him so much business). I didn’t find anything special about it. It resembles a big Polo Bao except its crust is darker in colour and not as sweet. But that’s about it. Its taste is not exceptional. There’s supposed to be some coffee taste in it, but I didn’t detect any. I seriously can’t understand how Singaporeans can go ga-ga over THIS! Thank goodness I didn’t, like many others, queue in line just to get my hands on it!
