the different morsels of the life of a foodie

Man Cheung Po 萬丈布

Last weekend I brought three friends who were visiting from Singapore to two of my favourite spots in Hong Kong. As they are friends I got to know from paddling, we’re all people who love the great outdoors so it was only natural that I’d bring them to chase some waterfalls since this is just about the most fun thing to do in summer. My usual hiking pals had also wanted to go to this waterfall and so we decided to head there together.
We went to Man Cheung Po in Lantau island. The waterfall is near Tai O village and is easily accessible by trail. We had the most fabulous afternoon swimming in the pool that we had all to ourselves.

After a few days of rain, there was a lot of water gushing down…awesome!

I found a little nook among the rocks to sit in and it felt like a natural jacuzzi!
