It’s been awhile since I have put up a post about food, ‘cos really, I don’t eat out in restaurants that much in HK. Well, and also, I’ve been lazy in taking pictures of food and blogging about it. A few weeks ago though, I had dinner with some friends visiting from Singapore at Regal Palace, which I think is a good Cantonese restaurant to take friends to as the food there is of a pretty high standard – it’s a Michelin-star restaurant. Well at least it was last year.

I had the Award Winning Set which goes for HKD450++ per person. It’s like a degustation menu where they serve courses in individual portions.

The Braised Fish Soup with Egg White and Carrot

The Baked Stuffed Crab Shell with Cheese

Fried Lobster Fillets Topped with Shanghai Crab Meat and Crab Roe

Braised White Cabbage with Matsutake Fungus and Wolfberries

The Marinated Sliced Beef Sirloin with Black Vinegar

Fried Rice with Dry Baby Shrimp and Ham

Sweetened Bird’s Nest in Almond Cream
And oh, if you have stomach for it, order the roast goose as it’s really yummy.
