Pictures from a coastal trek round Middle Island 熨波洲, situated south of Hong Kong island and in between Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay. The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and Aberdeen Boat Club are both located on the island.

The start point of our coastal trek – Middle Island is just across the short stretch of water behind me. You can also see some outrigger canoes behind me…it certainly brought back many fond memories of my paddling days. Up on the hills far back you can also some structures which are actually rides in Ocean Park.

Climb or swim, it’s up to you! I usually like to opt for the swim route (when the sea isn’t too rough) as I don’t really like being up that high on the rocks.

These two guys were dare devils – they opted to do back flips into the water instead!

Repulse Bay can be seen in the background…yes, there are lots of places near these super posh and expensive places where you can fun without costing you an arm and a leg!
