It’s been a while since I’ve put up pictures depicting Hong Kong’s natural beauty. Here are some from a coastal trek that I went on way back on 1 May, Labour Day. It was a public holiday and my friends and I went on a junk boat trip that also included a coastal trek around Basalt Island located in the Sai Kung peninsula. The island is also part of the Hong Kong National Geopark.

Those who didn’t want to do coastal trekking got onto the island by taking a ride there on this small boat. They hiked to the top of the hill on the island instead. It was a hot day though, so I definitely wanted to go in the water!

I love the outdoors!

We swam through the cave – same one we stood above in the previous picture.
