Today’s brown bag was throw together from some ingredients I had leftover from other stuff I was making. I had made the brown rice for some maki rolls I was making to take to class tonight. The black beans were left over from the black bean soy milk and the canned chickpeas were left over from the hummus I tried to make (unsuccessfully).
I threw the black beans and chickpeas together, added some peashoots I had bought, and put in some fresh red chillies for a spicy kick. To season, I added soy sauce and Chinese wine.
Today’s lunch sorted.
