You know how it is when you are included in one of those emails asking you to contribute to a colleague’s birthday present and you feel obliged to do so even though the birthday person hardly even acknowledges you while at work? Well, I found myself in that situation today.

I mean, I don’t actually feel like giving this person anything but if I don’t do so I’ll probably end up with no friends at work. So for the sake of survival, I have to play the PR game. 😐
