Calf-high boots are like magic shoes – the moment a woman slips them on, her chic and style quotient are instantly amped up. There’s nothing my boots can’t dress up. Which is why I love my two pairs, one in camel brown and the other in black. Somehow ankle-high ones don’t have the same effect while knee-high ones just serve to make me look really short because, well, I don’t have the statuesque legs of a runway model.

I’m now on the lookout for a new pair of black boots which have a flat heel. I can’t walk in heels; I know,  I’m such a tomboy that I like stomping around in flats. If anyone has any boots to recommend, do let me know!
