Ooohh, sales galore among the fashion boutiques! I have been thinking of getting a classic camel-coloured trench coat. Last time I mentioned getting a pair of black boots, and I managed to find a reasonably priced pair made of leather in a tiny shop at the end of Gough Street, Sheung Wan.

While I won’t buy shoes online, I’ve been buying clothes online for about two years now. I think with clothes there is more margin for error and I prefer not to have to squeeze with the crazy crowds in Hong Kong. Recently I came across Zalora, an online Hong Kong-based fashion retailer which has added the River Island label to their store. I like the British, European and American labels because they are the only ones I can find clothes which fit me.

Anyway, I’m beginning to think I’ll no longer go back to thronging the malls as I love the convenience of online shopping. Plus, there’s a certain thrill in anticipating the package from the postman. Now, excuse me while I go e-shopping for my trench!
