During this time of the year, hikers in Hong Kong are treated to gorgeous sights of blooming pink 吊鐘 (hanging bells) flowers which dot the country parks. Patches of pink can be seen as you cast your eye across the green undulating hills. Up close, these delicate bells display different shades of pink. The delight these blushing beauties bring to hikers is evident when everyone stops to exclaim at and pose for a snapshot with these transient blossoms which will fall to the ground all too soon, signalling the passing of another Spring.
