Heading back to Singapore tonight for the Chinese New Year holidays! I haven’t been back since June 2014, so it’s been awhile. My check-in luggage is 18kg, two-third of which are food items from Chinese ham, dried duck’s liver, Chinese preserved sausages, manuka honey to traditional Chinese pastries. My carry-on bag is another bag of food. I’m a walking pantry.
Whenever I return home, it feels like I’m going on a business trip. I have to set up appointments way in advance so that I can book time in people’s busy schedules, and make sure I don’t double-book myself. With my limited time, it also means that the people I meet are those that matter. I’m looking forward to enjoying some sun and good food, and spending time with family and friends.
