It’s a wet and dreary morning in Hong Kong today. Which is sucky as I was hoping to roam the hills because my exams are over and now I have my summer break! Anyway I have spent the morning washing my sheets, mopping the floor, and dusting down the house. I feel exhausted already.

I have also done a bit of home DIY with this small upcycling effort of the mason jars that I keep from the pastes and sauces that I buy for cooking. I bought the air plants which don’t need much taking of except for a ten-minute soak in water every four days or so. I also bought those colourful pebbles from Japan Home Centre, a chain store that sells household goods.

I have more mason jars still stashed away for which I want to do find other uses for. Maybe this can be my creative project for the summer!
