Here’s playing catch-up on my gratitude project.

1 January

I got to spend the afternoon at my Filippo colleague’s home where her family had a new year’s gathering.

At her hometown of Guagua, I had the chance to see the parade of home made floats as it drove down the town’s main street. It’s not every day that a visitor gets to witness such traditions so I’m grateful for getting the chance to do so. It’s also wonderful to have such a generous colleague!

2 January

Flew back to Hong Kong on an early morning flight. Grateful for a safe journey home as well as no loss of baggage!

3 January

The rainy weather made it perfect to stay indoors. Was grateful for a restful day, which was what I needed to get back into work mode. I guess I should add that I’m grateful to have a job to go back to!
