Every city needs its own special characters and this gentleman is one of them. I have seen him a few times around Wynyard station just hanging around as people walk past him with amused looks. For those unfamiliar with Sydney, the area around Wynyard is the CBD of this city. He looks ethnically Asian (could be Chinese / Japanese / Korean) and his shoulder-length white hair hangs down messily. He is always accompanied by his brown chihuahua who good-naturedly sits or stands quietly wherever his human goes around, as if resigned to the fact that his human is a little different from the serious-looking folks who walk around the CBD in their power suits. In this picture, the chihuahua is being carried on the man’s right arm – you can see the leash hanging down on the right. The pair of them make for an amusing sight and does bring a smile to onlookers nonetheless. Perhaps that’s this man’s aim in life!
