Q14. Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?

I’ve been dreaming of going to South America for perhaps a two- to three-month holiday. I’ve been dreaming of going to see Patagonia, climb Macchu Picchu, take a boat ride down the Amazon River, walk around Easter Island, and see interesting wildlife in the Galapagos Islands etc. Such interesting cultures and places I have still yet to experience.

I still haven’t gone to South America because it would require a lot of time off work as well as cost a lot to go there and do all that I want to do. I haven’t been able to take so much time off and also bring myself to spend so much money at one go on a trip. But maybe one day I should just bite the bullet and go. However it always feels like the money should go to things of higher priority, i.e. mortgage, household expenses, food, utilities etc.

Which brings me back to my answer to the previous question on what I would like to know if I had a crystal ball. If I knew how much time I had, I would know how and what to prioritise in my life.
