Q18. What is your most terrible memory?

OK, back to the list of 36 questions which I haven’t finished. Hmm, a terrible memory. I can’t really pinpoint a particular one but perhaps times where I have felt particularly bad about life is when I’m sick while travelling alone or while living abroad on my own. And there have been a few of these situations.

During those times, I just felt so sorry for myself. It doesn’t matter that there are millions of people around the world in much more dire circumstances; at that point in time I just felt like the most pathetic thing in the world.

If these are my most terrible memories, I guess I should count myself lucky as it’s nothing compared to what some people have faced.
