Flew back to Singapore last Sunday and will be away from Australia for 7 weeks! I’m lucky in that I’m able to work remotely from Singapore so I don’t have to take annual leave to be back home. But for 3 out of the 7 weeks I’m planning to go to Hong Kong for a week, trekking in Kyrgyzstan for 10 days and another 3 days will be spent in Almaty (the old capital of Kazakhstan). I’m like a migratory bird who flies away to warmer places when it gets cold; I’m glad to be leaving winter in Australia behind!
