
I’ve been cooking a lot more since the lockdown began three (or is it four??) weeks ago. I’m sure I’ve put on weight as a result of all these cooking accompanied by much reduced movement as compared to before.
I’ve tried my hand at poaching barramundi and salmon in foil, baking black sesame cookies, making green bean dessert soup, steaming fish in Cantonese style, making a kimchi tofu stew and roasting pork belly. Those were the highlights.
Cooking helps to break up the day and gives me some variety during the day. I have always enjoyed cooking so I don’t find it a chore. I’ve tried cooking some new dishes and am determined to try more!
