I spent the whole day gardening today. Weeded the front and back lawn, and replaced dead plants with new plants my aunt bought. The garden looks better now.
Spring’s lovely! According to the locals, the hot temperatures are a wee bit warm for Spring. But who’s complaining? Most people I know, myself included, are glad that the sun’s out and we’re having such glorious days. Many flowers all around Sydney are in bloom and there are so many colours everywhere. It’s gorgeous!
I made a short trip to the library as well. Managed to get hold of “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt and Margaret Atwood’s “Oryx and Crake“. I was very excited to see the “The Secret History” on the shelf as I’ve been wanting to read the book for a long time. It’s as if I stubbled upon treasure everytime I see a book that I want on the library shelf.
I love the fiction section of the libraries in Sydney. I can always find good books and recent publications. On Wednesday, I managed to borrow the book “Almost French” which is a recent publication and is on the bestseller’s list.
Anyway, tomorrow’s going to be another day of weeding. I’ll be going to Goat Island on another CVA project. This time, I’ve also roped in my teenage cousin Tian-Yao.
I’m looking forward to it!
