Like a burst of sunshine that brightens your day, lemon poppyseed cake never fails to lift my spirits. I just love the look and texture of the happy yellow colour speckled with black dots. The zesty, tangy flavours of lemon, combined with the minute crunchy bits of poppyseeds is one of my favourites for an afternoon tea delight!
