Winter may be dreary, but the golden gingko trees bring a pop of colour to the streets of Tokyo in the cold of December. It just reminds one that the beauty of nature is never truly gone despite the bare of winter.
I was in Japan during the first two weeks of December and spent a week in Tokyo in total for both work and play. For three days I was on my puttering around on my own in Tokyo while I had company on the other days.
Tokyo is a good city to putter around on your own. There’s lots to see and do; when you’re tired from walking, you just pop into a cute little cafe to rest, eat and watch the world go by.
For 2018, I thought I might post a picture every day and write something about it. I guess writing something is better than not a word at all!
